Penza, 19 May 2021. PenzaNews. 121 400 tonnes of milk were produced in Penza region in January-April 2021, which is 6.2% more than in the same period in 2020. This was evidenced by data of Penzastat.

66.6% of the total – 80 800 tonnes – was produced by agricultural organisations. Compared to January-April 2020, the growth was 24.2%.

The share of households was 20.8%. In the four months of this year they produced 25 300 tonnes. This is a 22.2 per cent decrease compared to the same period last year.

Peasant farms and individual entrepreneurs produced 12.6% of the total milk in January-April 2021 – 15 300 tonnes, which is 8.7% less compared to the same period in 2020.
