Penza, 14 December 2021. PenzaNews. More than 334 million roubles will be allocated from the Penza region budget to support the agricultural sector in 2022, which is 2.4 times higher than in 2021. This was stated in a message spread by the press service of the regional government.

“It is assumed that regional budget funds can be used to assist dairy cattle enterprises, support meat production, as well as develop the production of edible eggs,” the text notes.

It specifies that there are seven regional programmes in Penza region that are funded without the use of the federal budget.

“The total amount of expenditures for the provision of state aid to agricultural producers envisaged in the region’s budget this year is 139.8 million roubles,” it said.
