Penza, 4 March 2016. PenzaNews. The traffic police established the involvement of a 38-year-old man in the theft of a VAZ-2101 that was parked on Baydukova street in Penza.

“The man could not present the documents that would prove he has the right to drive. The check has shown that the detained man is a former convict working at a car wash, who stole the car parked at the car wash territory, after which the car owner filed a police report,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior deparment informed PenzaNews.

The man now faces a criminal case on misappropriation of a vehicle, they clarified.

“The suspect confessed to the crime,” the police added.
