Penza, 29 March 2016. PenzaNews. An assistant professor at the Penza State University of Architecture and Construction will be facing a criminal case under Part 3, Art. 209 of the Criminal Code, “Taking a Bribe.”

“According to investigators, in March 2016, the suspect received a bribe of 2,500 rubles from his student for a positive mark for the exam and the coursework in his subject without any actual evaluation. The suspect was detained by the police after taking the money,” Lyudmila Fomina, senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations, told PenzaNews.

The police are currently working on establishing the full picture of the event and gathering evidence, she explained.
