Penza, 1 April 2016. PenzaNews. A 32-year-old Penza region woman became a victim of a fraud in an attempt to buy a Chevrolet Cruze made in 2014 for 335,000 rubles.

“The seller told her by phone that he needs an advance payment transfer. The woman followed the instructions of the unidentified person and transferred 55,000 rubles to his bank card in several installments, but still has not received the car so far,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

The subsequent attempts to get in touch with the seller were unsuccessful, as the contact phone number was disabled.

“The fraud is currently under investigation. The police are identifying the culprits involved in the crime,” the press service said.
