Penza, 14 May 2016. PenzaNews. The police accused an 18-year-old unemployed man of stealing a 1989-made Volkswagen Golf from a parking by a Klary Tsetkin street apartment building in Penza.

The car was not functioning, and had no alarm system, the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department told PenzaNews.

“According to the suspect, he sold the stolen car to the scrapyard. The culprit was released under pledge not to leave the city,” the police said.

He now faces a criminal case under Part 2, Art. 158 of the Criminal Code, “Theft,” the police clarified.
