Kuznetsk, 16 May 2016. PenzaNews. The police detained two unemployed residents of Kuznetsk in the Penza region on charges of stealing an elevator motor.

The equipment to a 1981-made apartment building elevator, which had been stolen during the night hours, weighs 340 kg, the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

“The investigators detained two former convicts, 29 and 47. The stolen goods were seized,” the police added.

An investigation of the case is underway, they clarified.
