Penza, 7 July 2016. PenzaNews. Two Penza region citizens are accused of stealing over 200 kg of foodstuffs from a store in Issa village.

“The unknown men broke the store warehouse lock at nighttime and infiltrated the unguarded store. They stole five 5-kg bags and nine 10-kg bags of flower, five 5-kg bags of sugar, two 20-kg bags of macaroni, one 25-kg bag of rice, as well as cheeses, smoked fish and sausages,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

The investigators established that two people living in the Issa area – a 37-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man, both former convicts – were involved in the crime, they explained.

“They were questioned and confessed to the crime,” the police said.

The investigation of the case is underway, he pointed out.
