Woman fraudster steals 55,000 rubles from Penza pensioner after promising additional money

Penza, 27 July 2016. PenzaNews. The police are searching for a Roma woman suspected of stealing 55,000 rubles from an elderly woman, 82, living in the Penza region.

“According to the victim’s explanation, an unknown woman entered her flat in the morning of Tuesday, July 26, under the guise of helping her prepare the documents for additional monetary subsidies and currency exchange. After she left, the elderly woman found out that her money was stolen,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.
The suspect looks 28-30 years old, she is 160-165 cm tall, with average complexion, black hair and dark eyes, they clarified.
“The woman was dressed in a white shirt with a colored print, blue pants and white soft shoes, and carried a dark brown bag,” the police added.
An investigation is underway, and the police are taking measures to identify and apprehend the culprit, they clarified.
