Zarechny, 1 August 2016. PenzaNews. A 21-year-old citizen of Zarechny in the Penza region is accused of stealing a handbag with a mobile phone and 100,000 rubles in cash from a pram left in an administrative building of the local park.

The pram belonging to a 66-year-old woman was left unattended for an hour, the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

“The criminal investigators and police officers found that a local former convict was involved in the crime. He was questioned, and confessed to the crime,” they added.

An investigation of the case is underway, they clarified.
