“Investigation and the court found that the young men, aware of the monthly date of pension delivery in their apartment house, agreed to commit a robbery of a post office worker. The attackers prepared in advance and planned everything — they prepared a mask and a wooden rolling pin as an instrument of crime. According to their plan, the minor partner was supposed to beat the postman and his older friend — to steal a bag of money,” Lyudmila Fomina, senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations, told PenzaNews.

She said that on March 4, 2016, when the mail-worker entered the house, the teenager struck the woman at least four times on the head with a rolling pin, and then the victim managed to escape.

“The sentence has not come into legal force yet,” the agency interlocutor noted.
