Penza, 3 September 2016. PenzaNews. A 27-year-old resident of Gorodishchensky area is suspected of fraud in respect of visual acquaintance with whom he met in one of the bookmakers’ offices in Penza.

As the press service of the regional MIA told PenzaNews, the offender asked a 33-year-old man for a cell-phone to make a call, but then never returned it.

“The Criminal Investigation Department officers conducted a range of operational activities and identified the suspect. He was interrogated and confessed to the crime, he explaining that the stolen phone was in a pawnshop,” the police commented.

The department noted that a fraud criminal case was filed.
