Two-meter hemp bushes grown by Penza region resident
Penza, 14 September 2016. PenzaNews. Police discovered 48 cannabis bushes, some of which were 2 meters high, on the territory of homeownership of Nikolsk area resident, the Penza region.
“18 of them were in the open field, another 30 — in a greenhouse in the garden,” the press service of the regional MIA told PenzaNews.
The ministry noted that the man took regular care of the plants watering them and cleaned the weeds.
The police added that in the house they found dried parts of hemp, shredded and ready to eat.
“The substance was seized and sent to the Forensic Center of the regional MIA for investigation. The police found that the suspect does not use the drugs. The citizen explained that he cultivated hemp for a relative who is currently away from the region for work,” the department added.
The police instituted a criminal case on the fact of illicit drug trafficking on a large scale.
