Penza, 21 September 2016. PenzaNews. A sentence of 1.5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony was designated to the resident of Penza, who was found guilty of using violence against the authorities.

“At night on July 1, on the road near house No. 11 on Rakhmaninova Street the traffic inspector stopped the driver of the VAZ car for driving while intoxicated. The drunk driver tried to prevent the arrest and avoid being brought to administrative responsibility. He first struck the inspector on the left lower leg, and then, while in the official’s car, struck him at least two times with his head and shoulders on the body, after which he bit his left shoulder, causing the inspector bruises and abrasions, not regarded as harmful to personal health,” the spokesman of Oktyabrsky district court of Penza informed PenzaNews.

He said that the final sentence includes an unserved part of the previous sentence.

“The civil lawsuit against the defendant for compensation for non-pecuniary damage was accepted by the defendant and satisfied by the court in the amount of 10 thousand rubles” the agency interlocutor concluded.
