“Presenting herself as a head of a construction company, the woman persuaded a man, she used to work with in Povolzhie Group LLC, to become the investor of an apartment house. In February 2014, under the agreement on joint activities and the loan agreement, he gave her 5 million rubles, while the defendant had no real possibility to return the money, and she was not intending to do so,” the senior assistant of the head of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova told PenzaNews.

She said that the woman invested the money in the construction of her own property.

“Given the presence of a minor child, the imprisonment is delayed until the child reaches 14 years of age. The sentence came into legal force,” the agency interlocutor added.
