Penza, 24 October 2016. PenzaNews. A 39-year-old Penza resident became a victim of fraud while purchasing a Nikon camera for 16 thousand rubles through the Internet.

“He found an offer for a camera sale in the Avito.ru website, he called the unknown person who told him that he must make a prepayment in the amount of 8 thousand rubles to receive the camera. The man transferred the sum to the bank card account and several days later he received a parcel. To take it he paid 9 more thousand rubles,” the press service of the Penza region department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told PenzaNews.

The department said that there were threads, wrinkled paper and a bottle of vodka in the parcel.

“A criminal case was initiated upon the fact. The police are taking measures to identify persons involved in the crime,” the department added.
