Penza, 28 October 2016. PenzaNews. The police established the involvement of two residents of the Penza region aged 24 and 27 in stealing a VAZ-2105 car, which was left unattended for a few days at the roadside near the village of Michurinsky.

“The suspects explained that they decided to steal the car because they thought it was abandoned. The law-breakers sawed the car and sold it for scrap, receiving about 6 thousand rubles for it. The money they got was spent on their personal needs,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told PenzaNews.

The department added that a criminal case was initiated under Item “a” Part 1, Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
