The ex-mayor of Penza, former deputy chairman of the regional government Alexander Pashkov who was accused of large-scale fraud during the construction of the perinatal center, left isolation ward on temporary basis. This was reported on condition of anonymity by the source close to the investigation.

According to him, on Thursday, November 24, the Pervomaisky regional court had to consider an application for the prolongation of Alexander Pashkov time of detention in custody, but the trial was postponed till November 30.

“They say, his lawyers were not well-informed about the hearings, and that is why Alexander Pashkov will stay at home until the court considers the issue of the detention in custody prolongation,” the interlocutor of the agency said.

The court confirmed the information that the hearing was postponed from November 24 to November 30, and it was explained that the information about Alexander Pashkov’s current location is unavailable.

At the same time, the press service of the regional Investigative Committee, where the criminal case was returned for additional investigation, does not comment on the information that the former deputy chairman of the regional government left isolation ward.
