“On December 1, the law enforcement authorities received the message that a man disappeared in Kuznetsk. According to the man’s wife, at about 17.00 two men came to their house, forced her husband into their car under forced pretense, and fled to unknown location,” this was reported by the senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations Lyudmila Fomina.
She added that as the result of the operational investigative measures, two residents of the Kuznetsk region, aged 29 and 33 years, and a Penza resident, aged 41 years, were arrested on suspicion of the crime.
“According to the preliminary data, after the man was taken out of Kuznetsk to the forest area near the Shelemis village, the suspects stabbed the victim in the body and neck, which resulted in his death,” the interlocutor explained.
According to her, one of the suspects showed the place where they left the body of the dead man, which was later discovered at the same place.
Lyudmila Fomina specified that at present the office considers applying a measure of restraint to the arrested by way of taking them into custody and bringing in the indictment.
“The investigation establishes all facts of the committed crimes, as well as the role of each of the suspects in the incriminated criminal acts,” she summed up.
