Penza, 16 December 2016. PenzaNews. Police officers investigate circumstances of almost 100 million rubles disappearance from a bank cash register in Penza. This was reported by the press service of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The name of the financial institution was not specified.

“We can only confirm the fact,” the department noted.
The police added that the criminal case was opened on the incident.
As it is reported by “Ulitsa Moskovskaya” newspaper, which refers to its sources, the crime was committed in one of the VTB group banks.
“The cash manager, a 28-year-old man, was suspected. He confessed to the crime, that is that he stole the money,” the message posted on the newspaper website states.
It says that the money was stolen during the period from February 2015 to November 2016. In addition, the suspect is prone to gambling and the stolen money was not found yet.
