Penza, 16 December 2016. PenzaNews. Officers of the Penza police withdrew more than 120,000 litres of alcohol and alcohol containing products from illegal trade during 11 months of the 2016 year. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation.

“894 cases of law violation was registered and 152 criminal cases were opened in the stated field.  742 administrative protocols were drawn up against the guilty people, all of them were found liable according to the law. The law breakers were charged with penalties in the total amount of more than 4.5 million rubles,” the department specified.

The police office added that at the threshold of the winter holidays more than 5,000 places of alcohol trade were already inspected.

“214 law violations were registered. 12 criminal cases were opened. 185 administrative protocols were drawn up. 18 cases are under examination at present,” the press service said.
