Mokshan, 22 December 2016. PenzaNews. A 57-year-old resident of the village Bogorodskoe of the Penza region was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment in the penal colony of high-security regime after he was found guilty of murder of a woman.

“In August 2016, drinking alcoholic beverages with the victim the man suggested having a sexual contact and received a rude refusal. In order to prevent abusive comments, the man inflicted at least 12 knife wounds, which resulted into the woman’s death at the scene of the crime,” the senior assistant of the head of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova told PenzaNews.

She added that the court obliged the man to compensate the moral damage to the son of the killed woman equal to 500,000 rubles.

“The verdict did not come into effect,” the interlocutor concluded.
