Penza, 24 December 2016. PenzaNews. The police office of the Nikolsky area of the Penza region started the investigation upon the fraud in connection with a 44-year-old man who lost his money after he got to a fishing website.

“According to the man, he used the website which looked similar to ‘Sberbank Online’ and saw a message about 10,000 rubles reward to Sberbank clients. He followed the link and entered the details of his bank card,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia told PenzaNews.

The office added that soon the man received a notice that 7,456 rubles were withdrawn from his bank card, and 173,000 – from his credit card.

“Police officers take measures to find out who is involved in the crime,” the press service said.
