Penza, 8 January 2017. PenzaNews. The 21-year-old Penza resident is suspected of hijacking the VAZ-2106 car from a 53-year-old neighbor.

As the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told PenzaNews, the car was parked near the house in Ladozhskaya street.

“Earlier the suspect had been held criminally liable. He was arrested. The hijacked car was found in the motordrome ‘Virazh’. The suspect explained that he stole the car in order to sell it for scrap,” the department explained.

The police noted that the car was returned to the owner.

“The criminal case was opened on the fact of hijacking,” the press service added.
