Workers of the non-departmental security service of the federal national guard troops service of the Penza region, police senior sergeants Georgy Gruzinov and Ilya Matyushechkin arrested a 41-year-old man who threatened to stab his parents in the house in Kirova street in Penza.

"The team of the non-departmental security service arrived to the scene of the incident within a couple of minutes. The criminal saw the law enforcement officers and tried to escape," the press service of the federal national guard troops service of the Penza region told PenzaNews.

The department added that the man was arrested, handcuffed and brought to the police office for further investigation.

"The retired couple explained the officers of the national guard troops service that they had a conflict with the drunk son. He took the knife and began to threaten his parents. At the earliest opportunity, the elderly woman called 02 and reported what happened," the press service said.
