Penza, 19 January 2017. PenzaNews. A 50-year-old homeless man, who committed a series of crimes against children in Penza, was sent to compulsory treatment in a specialized psychiatric hospital under the court decision.  This was reported by the senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations Lyudmila Fomina.

"The investigation and the court established the fact that the man having no fixed abode, got acquainted with small boys and invited them to an empty administrative building in Penza, where he lived and worked as a watchman. In the building rooms, the man repeatedly committed debauchery against nine boys, aged 10-14, showed them pornographic videos, offered cigarettes, and involved them in systematic consumption of alcoholic beverages," the interlocutor explained.

She added that the teenagers kept the things in secret from their relatives for a long time and it left the man with impunity.

"During the investigation we carried out a complex forensic psychological and psychiatric examination, according to which the man suffers from a mental disorder and needs the application of compulsory measures of medical nature," Lyudmila Fomina noted.

She explained that the court found the criminal guilty of committing crimes under the Item “b”, Part 4, Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violent acts of sexual nature", under the Part 3, Art. 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Sexual abuse", and under the Part 1, Art. 151 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ""Involvement of an underage person in commission of antisocial acts".
