Gorodische, 2 March 2017. PenzaNews. A 29-year-old citizen of the Gorodische area of the Penza region will be punished by way of up to 6 months imprisonment for the use of a fake driver's license.

"According to the case materials, in the beginning of October, 2016, at the 678th kilometre of the federal highway M5 ‘Ural’ the defendant showed an inspector of the department of the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gorodischensky area a fake driver's license in his name. The defendant knew that the document was fake because he did not undergo special training and did not take an exam. Instead, in the beginning of 2016, he bought a driver's license from an unknown person through the Internet," the press service of the Penza region prosecutor's office told PenzaNews.

The department specified that a criminal case was opened under the Part 3, Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Forgery, production or trade in fake documents, national awards, stamps, seals, and printed forms".
