Penza, 12 March 2017. PenzaNews. A 42-year-old man who decided to rob a mobile shop in Proskekt Stroiteley street in Penza after a refusal to be given a loan was arrested.

The actions of the criminal were recorded by a surveillance camera.

"It was established that being intoxicated the suspect entered the shop and asked an assistance about buying a mobile phone on loan but received a refusal because he did not have a passport with him. After a while, the criminal smashed a shop window, took one of the phones and left," the press service of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told PenzaNews.

The department specified that the criminal, who had been found criminally liable before, was detained within two hours after committing the crime and was taken to the police department, where he gave a confession.

"A criminal case was opened on the fact of robbery by the police department No. 3 of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The penal part of the article presupposes imprisonment for the term of up to 4 years," the press service noted.
