Penza, 14 May 2017. PenzaNews. The police established that a 24-year-old resident of the Mokshany area is involved in a robbery committed in Penza.

"The 24-year-old victim explained that threatening him with a knife, a man robbed him of a purse with documents, a bank card and a mobile phone charger, which were in a backpack. The incident happened near the bus stop," the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told PenzaNews.

The department specified that the suspect had been found criminally liable before.

"He was detained and taken to a police office for further investigation. Some of the stolen things were confiscated," the department added.

The police noted that a criminal case was opened on the fact of robbery.
