Penza, 5 June 2017. PenzaNews. A 54-year-old resident of Penza lost 265,000 rubles after a conversation with a stranger on Skype.

"On one of websites the woman opened an e-account, deposited 30,000 rubles and sent a photo of her bank card. Then, a stranger called her on Skype and introduced himself as Alexei. He explained that her bank account will be credited with money received from difference of exchange rates," the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told PenzaNews.

The department explained that the woman, following directions of the stranger, carried out a number of operations after which she received a message about debiting money from the account.

"Investigation on this fact is conducted," the traffic police added.
