Kuznetsk, 13 July 2017. PenzaNews. A criminal case of illegal logging of forest stands was instituted against a 37-year-old resident of Kuznetsky area of the Penza region.

As the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs department in the Penza region told PenzaNews, five fresh and growing birches were cut down near the village of Pioner.

“The damage to the forestry is estimated at 18 thousand rubles,” the department noted.

The police stated that the suspect had previously been prosecuted.

“He confessed to the crime,” the department summed up.
