Penza, 24 August 2017. PenzaNews. A Penza resident will appear before the court on a charge of an offence under Part 1, Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Incitement of hatred or enmity as well as abasement of human dignity".

"It was established that from June 2013 to November 2014 being at home in Penza the accused used his personal computer to post audio and media files of an extremist nature on his social network profile on the Internet and kept them on the website till April 2017. It should be noted that his profile was open to an undefined circle of people," Tatyana Makhnitskaya, senior assistant of the head of the regional investigative department for media relations under the Investigative Committee of Russia, told PenzaNews.

According to her, a psychological and linguistic examination showed that the materials contained signs of abasement of dignity, incitement of hatred and enmity towards a group of persons on grounds of race, nationality, origin and religion.
