Penza, 28 August 2017. PenzaNews. Police officers established that a 37-year-old resident of Penza is involved in robbery of a shop located in Kalinina street.

"Having caused bodily injury to the shop assistant, the man openly stole some salad and a 0.5 litre bottle of cognac," the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia told PenzaNews.

The department specified that the suspect had been found criminally liable before.

"The man confessed to the crime. The stolen was confiscated," the police noted.

The department added that a criminal case was opened on the fact of the robbery.
