Penza, 9 September 2017. PenzaNews. The second fact of Internet fraud as a result of which a client of an Internet store received a paper instead of a costly phone was registered in the Penza region this week.

"A 44-year-old resident filed an application to Penza police department No. 3 under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. He reported that on one of websites he had made a purchase order for a new model of a mobile phone of a well-known brand, the price of which in ordinary stores starts from 40,000 roubles. After receiving the parcel at a post office and paying 7,819 roubles for it, the citizen opened the box but found cut paper inside instead of the phone," the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia commented to PenzaNews.

The department explained that investigation on the fact had been organized.

Previously, the police reported about a simila fact of fraud. At that time, cut paper instead of a mobile phone was received by post by a minor resident of the Bessonovsky area of the Penza region.
