Penza, 9 October 2017. PenzaNews. A man born 1985 who was arrested in a sauna in Bakunina street in Penza on Friday afternoon, October 6, is accused of illegal deprivation of two girls’ freedom. The third girl managed to hide herself and the criminal did not know about her presence in the building. This was reported by Tatyana Makhnitskaya, senior assistant of the head of the regional investigative department for media relations under the Investigative Committee of Russia.

She specified that the victims were girls born 1991 and 1999.

"The two other girls managed to escape when they heard cries indicating that the man had taken out a gun. Subsequently, they reported the incident to the police," the interlocutor explained.

Tatyana Makhnitskaya added that the man had fully confessed to the incriminated offence.

"On October 8, at the request of the investigator, the Penza Zheleznodorozhny area court applied the measure of restraint against the criminal in the form of penal detention for the period of two months," the representative of the investigation department reminded.

According to her, within the criminal case investigation, various forensic examinations including a medical one – with a view of ascertaining presence or absence of bodily harm caused to the victims or the accused – as well as complex and ballistic examinations, fingerprint and cold weapon analyses were prescribed.
