Resident of Ramzay fined 25,000 roubles for beating police officer

Mokshan, 21 October 2017. PenzaNews. A penalty by way of a fine equalling 25,000 roubles was imposed on a resident of village Ramzay of the Penza region who was found guilty of using violence against a representative of the authorities.

"Having no identity documents the man drove a vehicle in a state of alcohol intoxication. The worker of the MIA department in the Mokshan area took measures to remove the citizen from driving the vehicle," an official representative of the Mokshan area court told PenzaNews.

He specified that when driving to the department the police officer, who had been at the wheel of the police car, had taken a blow to the head and the right arm.

"The verdict has entered into the legal force," the interlocutor summed up.
