Penza, 4 November 2017. PenzaNews. A gullible pensioner from Penza transferred 235,000 roubles to a stranger's bank card having been tricked by a telephone fraudster. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The department explained that the criminal had tricked the woman out of the money under the pretext of paying compensation for the fraud previously committed against her.

"Investigation on the fact is conducted. Police officers take measures to identify persons involved in the crime," the press service said.
