Penza, 22 November 2017. PenzaNews. A Penza resident born 1977 who used to work in a cleaning company is accused or a series of thefts of mobile phones from a communications store.

"From July to September she cleaned a mobile shop in a trade centre in the territory of the Oktyabrsky area. In August the woman stole a mobile phone costing 16,000 roubles from a counter," the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told PenzaNews.

The department added that subsequently the accused had sold it for 10,000 roubles and spend the money she received from the sale on personal needs.

"It was also established that the woman was also involved in an analogous crime conducted in early September. She stole a mobile phone worth over 50,000 roubles from the same mobile shop, which she also sold," the police added.

The department specified that the woman had fully confessed to the crime.

"One of the stolen phones was confiscated by police officers," the press service noted.

The MIA department reported that the criminal case had been submitted to the Oktyabrsky area court of Penza for consideration.
