Penza, 24 November 2017. PenzaNews. Illegal tree felling with the damage estimated at 150,000 roubles was revealed in the Kuznetsky area of the Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The department specified that the crime had been committed in the territory of the Chibirleisky district forestry, where 12 oak trees had been felled.

"Criminal investigation officers established that a 19-year-old resident of the Kuznetsk area was involved in the crime. He confessed to the crime," the department explained.

The department added that a criminal case was opened on this fact.
