Penza, 13 December 2017. PenzaNews. Two residents of the Penza region, whose criminal activities had been previously revealed by workers of the regional department of the Federal Security Service of Russia, were found guilty by court of illegal storage of and trade in alcohol containing products.

"As established by the investigation and the court, in June 2017, two residents of the Penza region sold illegally 34,240 0.5 litre bottles of alcohol-containing products labelled ‘Vodka’. The product had no conformance certificates and accompanying documents that would confirm the legality of production and turnover of the good," the press service of the regional department of the Federal Security Service of Russia told PenzaNews.

The department specified that the total cost of the confiscated products amounted to over 7 million roubles.

The press service added that the court decisions against the criminals had entered into legal force.
