Penza, 14 December 2017. PenzaNews. The penalty up to imprisonment for the term of one year threatens a 34-year-old resident of Nikolsk of the Penza region who is suspected of stealing products worth less than 540 roubles from a shop in Yesenina street.

As the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told PenzaNews, the woman had been found criminally liable before for a similar deed and at that time an administrative punishment had been applied.

The police explained that therefore a criminal proceeding had been instituted under Art. 158.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Minor larceny committed by a person subjected to an administrative punishment".
