Penza, 17 February 2018. PenzaNews. A 39-year-old resident of Penza became a victim of fraud submitting a request for a loan on the Internet. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"The man requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 roubles at a website similar to that of a financial organization. After some time an unknown woman called him, introduced herself as a worker of the loan department and said that in order to receive the money the man had to transfer 12,000 roubles for the insurance and delivery of the loan," the press service explained.

The office specified that the Penza resident had transferred the requested amount, after which he found out that the stranger's telephone was switched off.
