Pachelma resident convicted of fishing without permission

Penza, 28 June 2018. PenzaNews. A 52-year-old resident of Pachelma of the Penza region was convicted of illegal fishing and sentenced to 6 months of corrective works with a probation period of one year with deduction of 5% of his salary to the state.

"Within case investigation it was established that at the end of April 2018 in spawning season, the man had fished illegally using a net having no permit," senior assistant of the head of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova told PenzaNews.

According to her, the man pleaded guilty to the charge and claimed he regretted having committed the crime.

"The verdict has not entered into legal force," the interlocutor noted.
