Penza, 11 October 2018. PenzaNews. Criminal proceedings were instituted in the Shemysheysky area of the Penza region on the fact of the abduction of a 4-year-old child. This was reported by the senior assistant of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova.

"During procedural investigation it was established that in the evening of October 10 three men had sprayed an unknown substance into the eyes of the girl's stepfather and his mother, who had driven up in a car to their house, and had stolen the child. The attackers fled by car in an unknown direction," the interlocutor said.

She added that the girl had been transported to another city and her whereabouts had been established.

"Investigative actions involving participants of the abduction, including the biological father of the child, are carried out," Svetlana Artamonova said.

She specified that the criminal case had been instituted under Paragraphs "a", "c", "g", "e" of Part 2, Art. 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Kidnapping" and the course of investigation was under control of Prosecutor's office.
