Penza, 11 November 2018. PenzaNews. Over 3.5 kg of hemp were seized in outbuildings belonging to a Penza resident. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"The police received a report that one of the locals used drugs. When checking the information, the police officers detected a Penza citizen, born 1987, who had previously been prosecuted for the sale of drugs," the department explained.

The press-service specified that the man said he had cultivated the hemp for the personal use.

"A criminal case was opened," the department added.
