Penza, 20 November 2018. PenzaNews. 3,739 crimes were committed in public places of the Penza region from January to October 2018, which is almost 15% more than in the same period last year. This was reported by senior assistant of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova.

She specified that this included 645 grave and especially grave crimes.

Svetlana Artamonova added that in 10 months six murders and attempts to murder had been committed, 36 facts of deliberate causing serious harm to health as well as 4 cases of rape and attempts to rape had been registered.

Besides, according to her, 1,232 thefts, 457 crimes in the sphere of illegal drug trafficking, 170 robberies and other illegal actions had been committed.
