Penza, 21 March 2019. PenzaNews. Fraudsters introducing themselves as the staff of the Prosecutor's Office became more active in the Penza region. This was stated in a message spread by the press service of the regional supervisory authority.

"Calling and introducing themselves as heads of the Prosecutor's Office of an area, the specified persons make requests for transfer of money, replenishment of phone account, rendering services in delivery of food and expensive alcoholic drinks," is explained in the text.

It is added that citizens need to be vigilant and not react to such tricks.

"With statements on commission of such illegal actions it is necessary to appeal to the police," the message runs.
