Penza governor expresses his opinion about case of Stryuchkov

Penza, 27 May 2019. PenzaNews. Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev commented on the criminal case against ex-minister of health of the region Vladimir Stryuchkov, who is accused of rape and sexual violence, without voicing the name of the former official.

"A head goes on a holiday, has some vodka and goes after girls, so simple. A criminal case was initiated," the head of the region said during a meeting in the regional government on Monday, May 27.
According to Ivan Belozertsev, law enforcement agencies "will investigate what has happened".
"But a civil servant, while on vacation, must remember that he is a civil servant, [...] and comply with our Russian legislation. [...] We should set an example in compliance with the law," the governor stressed.
