Penza, 3 August 2019. PenzaNews. The police started a fraud investigation, which involved a minor resident of the Nizhnelomovsky area of the Penza region, who was interested in a job offer to earn money received in an app on Telegram from an unknown user.

"In the course of correspondence, the unknown person explained that in order to earn extra money, it was necessary to transfer money to the bank accounts and electronic wallet that he would provide," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Penza region told PenzaNews.

The agency added that the girl had transferred 18,000 roubles to the stranger, after which her mother appealed to law enforcement authorities.

"Police officers take measures to identify persons involved in the crime," the press service said.
