In Penza woman accused of killing tramp detained

Penza, 29 August 2019. PenzaNews. A 36-year-old resident of Penza accused of killing a 47-year-old tramp in a burned-out building in Parkhomenko Street, was detained. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"She explained that there was a quarrel between her and the victim over the money which alcoholic beverages were purchased for. As a result of the conflict, the accused stabbed a man with a knife and then fled. The next day, the woman returned to the scene and found that the man did not show any signs of life. She called the police, but did not mention that she had stabbed the victim earlier," the agency said.
The press service specified that the accused had been repeatedly prosecuted before.
"She has been living an antisocial life for a long time, working nowhere and abusing alcoholic beverages," the police said.
